Jim served on the AICPA task force on business valuation standards that developed the Statement on Standards for Valuation Services (SSVS) No. 1, Valuation of a Business, Business Ownership Interest, Security, or Intangible Asset. He has over 30 years experience in the business valuation profession and was inducted into the AICPA BV Hall of Fame.
The coordinator and host of the VPS/FCG StraightTalk webinar series is Eva Lang, CPA/ABV, ASA. She is an active leader in the valuation profession having served on the ASA Business Valuation Committee and the Business Valuation Committee of the AICPA. She has served on the ASA Business Valuation Standards Committee and was named to the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame. She is the co-author of "The Best Websites for Financial Professionals" and has written for numerous financial publications. Eva is the President of Valuation Products & Services and serves as Executive Director of the Financial Consulting Group.
